Fluid Rotary Joint

The Fluid Rotary Joint designed by EVERAXIS operates under extreme pressure and manages very high flow rates. It primarily cools radar antennas and often integrates with other rotary joint systems, such as RF rotary joints, FORJ, and slip rings.

What is a Fluid Rotary Joint?

This technology transfers cooling liquids in rotating radar systems like Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA).
Thanks to advanced sealing and complex internal geometry, it delivers several benefits:

  • High flow rates for efficient cooling.

  • Stable high pressure for continuous operation.

  • Minimal leakage to protect surrounding components.

  • Long service life to maximize radar system uptime.

Key applications

This solution is ideal for environments where even the smallest leakage is unacceptable, such as advanced radar systems.
