Our company
EVERAXIS was born on February 22, 2022 from the merger of four long-established companies – each of them a World leader in its field – formerly known as Cobham Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

One common denominator: all of our productions are custom-made.
Over the years, complementing our core expertise in custom Slip Rings and RF Rotary joints, we have acquired unique capabilities as integrators of complex rotating systems including multiple technologies.

HISTORY
Our heritage
Over 70 years of unique engineering and industrial expertise. A history of constant innovation: from specialist manufacturers of Slip Rings and Rotary Joints, to best-in-class integrators of advanced rotating systems.
LE PLESSIS-ROBINSON
1946/1970: AIR PRÉCISION, founded in 1946 as an Aeronautical Repair and Maintenance company, started manufacturing Electrical Slip Rings in 1970.
It went on to expand into the Defence sector.
In 1989, it was acquired by Cobham PLC, and became the bridgehead of the group activities in France. It diversified into aeronautical manufacturing activities. AIR PRÉCISION became Cobham France in the year 2019.
EVERAXIS Aerospace and Defence was created in 2022 and now focuses on Slip Rings and complex integrated Rotating Systems for military, airborne and space applications.
KISTA
1951: Foundation of SIVERS LAB by Carl von Sivers.
With its 70+ years of experience in high-precision Microwave Products SIVERS LAB, now EVERAXIS AB, is a specialist manufacturer of waveguide and coaxial Rotary Joints and switches, referenced by the armed forces of many countries, ie for radar and satcom applications. On top of its specialized products, it developed a strong expertise in the integration of complex multi-technology rotating systems. It has been co-operating closely with the Slip Rings manufacturing in Le Plessis, first as Cobham and now under the EVERAXIS banner.
NAPLES
1959: Foundation of AIRFLYTE, antenna manufacturer, in Bayonne, N.J. After pivoting to encoders and then Slip Ring technologies, it became Airflyte Slip Rings and settled in Naples, Fla.
Acquired by Cobham PLC in 2014, the site is regarded as a leading manufacturer of Slip Rings in the US Aerospace and Defence markets.
Now EVERAXIS USA, Inc., Naples offers a complete vertically integrated facility capable of design, manufacture and qualification of any Slip Ring design and integration of full rotating systems.
ANNEMASSE
1962: Foundation of LABEL by the Lorsa group, a clock industry company, based in Annemasse, near the Lake Geneva.
Label started designing and manufacturing its first customized Slip Rings for Defence in 1962.
Member of the Cobham PLC Group since 2009, the company, trading as Cobham Slip Rings, began strong international development at the end of the 90s thanks to its robust technologies for industrial applications, such as special machinery, bottling and wind turbines. EVERAXIS Industries is a recognized leader in highly reliable Slip Rings for harsh environments.
