Subsea Power Supply

The Subsea Power Supply provides a reliable solution to convert a universal AC input (85 V to 264 V, single phase) into a stable 24 V DC output. It delivers up to 500 W of power and 21 A of current. When higher power is needed, users can easily connect multiple units in parallel to increase capacity.

This power supply offers more than simple conversion. It includes remote monitoring and control features, plus an onboard display that allows technicians to check readings or view camera feedback in real time. The system also supports RS-232 and RS-485 data interfaces, Modbus control, and Chassis Isolation Monitoring. In addition, an ambient light sensor sends valuable feedback to ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles).

Each unit runs efficiently in air or in a pressure-balanced oil-filled (PBOF) setup, giving operators flexibility in different subsea configurations.

Product configurations

All models use the MODBUS command protocol for direct remote monitoring and control. Users can adjust the output voltage through software between 22 V and 26 V DC to compensate for line losses under heavy load.
For projects that demand more power, a three-phase input version is available upon request.

Key applications

The Subsea Power Supply is well suited for a variety of applications, including:

  • Converting AC power to DC power subsea, without transformers or 1 ATM housings;
  • Powering low-voltage lighting systems, tooling systems, valve packs, as well as rotary and linear actuators.

Testing and verification

Before leaving the factory, every unit goes through a rigorous acceptance test that confirms performance and reliability. Each Subsea Power Supply includes a copy of its test results, ensuring full traceability and customer confidence.
