Aircraft Slip Rings & Rotary Joints

Aircraft operate in conditions with extreme differences in pressure, temperature variations while enduring shock and vibration.

EVERAXIS Rotary Joint design is verified by extensive simulations and testing during design phase and each unit is further tested in ESS climate chambers before delivery.

Peak power performance verification is done individually on all high power rotary joints.

Advanced manufacturing techniques are used to ensure flatness of the pancake in this design which is highly critical to overall performance of the targeting system.

Slip Ring performance is mission critical for the F-35.

Aircraft Applications

For the F-35, we worked with the prime contractor and the Joint Program Office (JPO) to develop an alternate source for the Extended Optical Targeting System (EOTS)
