EVERAXIS has more than 20 years of expertise in optical technologies for high data rate signal transmission. FORJ (Fiber Optic Rotary Joints) can be supplied as a stand alone product with customized characteristics (wavelength, connectors, fiber characteristics, etc.) or combined into a hybrid opto-electrical slip ring with contact or contactless technologies.
Fiber Optic Rotary Joints ensure flawless high-speed data transmission even in environments with strong electromagnetic interference. They are a maintenance-free alternative that eliminates friction and/or heating between rotating and stationary components.
EVERAXIS FORJ are designed for deterministic data transmission from 100 Mb/s to 10 Gb/s but also HD Video and LVDS. Equipped with stainless steel housing, the design of Everaxis FORJ has been tested and validated in harsh test environments.
Depending on customers’ needs, EVERAXIS can adjust pigtail lengths and termination on request. The interface can be adjusted to combine a FORJ with a slip ring. EVERAXIS can also offer a multiplexing system to convert several copper Ethernet ways to one optical fiber output.
EVERAXIS FOR are designed to operate in harsh environments with strong EMI and are well suited for long distance applications, since optical fiber has a very low attenuation rate. FORJ are installed in wind turbines, food and beverage machinery, robotics and various military vehicles.
