Everaxis USA has been awarded slip ring contract
Everaxis USA has been awarded by American Rheinmetall Vehicles a contract for the design and development of slip rings for the turret and Remote Weapons Station (RWS for the XM30 program. “The Everaxis USA team is thrilled to be part of a high-profile project like XM30,” said Dave Occhipinti, Executive Director of Business Development at Everaxis USA. The XM30 program at American Rheinmetall Vehicles (ARV) refers to the development of the XM30 Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle (MICV), which is part of the U.S. Army’s Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV) initiative. The OMFV program aims to replace the aging M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle with a modern combat vehicle that can operate autonomously and with a crew.
The XM30 is designed to feature advanced technology such as Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA), which allows for greater flexibility in integrating new systems, sensors, and weapons over time. Occhipinti also said, “In close collaboration with our customer’s technical teams, we crafted a scalable, MOSA-focused solution, which we believe set our proposal apart.” Contact us for more information.
