HD-SDI Twist Capsules

EVERAXIS HD-SDI Twist Capsules are used on a wide variety of military, aerospace and space applications when limited rotation is required but also where sliding contacts (Slip Rings) can’t be tolerated in the system. The Twist Capsule allows for some rotation while maintaining an electrical contact through a flexible circuit.

Applications for EVERAXIS Twist c-Capsules range from space solar array drive mechanisms (SADM) to gimbals that require high data rate transmission such as 3G video. Many military turrets can also utilize twist capsules if the turret only requires limited rotation such as +/- 270 degrees.
