What is a High Voltage Electrical Swivel?
Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) or Floating Liquified Natural Gas (FLNG) structures, including buoys, loading towers or turret moorings, require highly reliable and maintenance-free electrical swivels. They provide the vessels with the required degree of rotation. Electrical swivels must be capable of transferring uninterrupted high power while offering significant protection in hazardous areas.
