Power and Signal Twist Capsules

Limited rotating devices that allow power and data transfer through the rotating interface: Twist capsules utilize a flex tape that wraps and unwraps, to allow a certain amount of rotation, while maintaining the provision of power and signals between components of the separate structures.

When the system cannot tolerate electrical noise, drop-out or any degradation of signal quality, but also must have some rotating capability, a Power and Signal Twist Capsule is a good choice. It ensures a very long operational life, by reducing the stress on the transmission circuit.
